I've really tried to appreciate the vanilla format but honestly, they messed up so bad that I might have to do what I did with Skyrim, wait for the modding community to gain access to the GECK (equivalent) and do a massive patch job that Bethesda is too lazy to do themselves.
If it wasn't for the fact I received the game and DLC for free, it shouldn't even be purchased by anyone even if you're a die hard fan. Automaton DLC? Same region, nothing really new, only two new weapons and a weak armor line added which honestly the modding community has done better, and they jacked up the price. Granted it runs fine on my end, no crashes or loss of framerate outside of the normal, 200+ mods and winter ENB trying to create a new sun in my room, it just seems empty, the concept was already made before by the modding community in New Vegas, and they still haven't released the GECK because they want to milk money from things the community has already created in different games and call it their own.Ĭompared to their past games, each DLC was actually thoughtful and added at least four-six hours of additional content in addition to several new regions. The plotline is meh and not Bethesdas best attempt for an expansion in addition to the glorious increase of now unneccesary files and ini fixes to circumvent their poor attempt of an update. Took less than an hour and a half to beat with me purposefully not using fast travel, taking my time looting, and playing on max difficulty with all legendary enemy mods to make combat more insane. Honestly, for the increase in price and calling it a "DLC" is very hard-pressed in my opinion.
